About us
We give good batteries a second life.
Relife Battery is an Australian company on a single mission: take batteries that retire with most of their capacity intact, prove they’re safe, and put them back to work instead of throwing that energy away.
Every year, batteries retire from EVs and industry with 70 to 80% of their capacity still usable, and most are shredded or stockpiled. We exist to close that gap: to test, grade and rebuild them into storage people can trust, and to make clean power cheaper and waste rarer in the process.
Where we came from
Relife Battery grew out of Second Life Solar, which has spent years giving solar equipment a circular second life: maintenance, decommissioning, redeployment and recycling.
The same problem was staring back from the battery itself. Packs were being written off as waste while they still held the majority of their charge, and there was no one treating that battery the way Second Life Solar treats a panel: test it, prove it, put it back to work.
So we built the battery-only arm. Relife focuses entirely on the cell: the testing, the grading, the rebuild, the warranty. That’s how a "used" battery can be sold with the same confidence as a new one.
